Wynn Hotel and Resort
Wynn Las Vegas, the curved building covered by bronze-tinted glass, is located on a three-acre lake and features the only golf course onthe strip. The hotel offers business services, conference rooms and exhibit space. The hotel features designer boutiques including Cartier, Dior and Chanel. The hotel contains a Ferrari and Maserati showroom. The hotel includes an outdoor pool with a bridge across the center. Tom Fazio designed the 18-hole golf course featuring bentgrass greens. Wynn contains a 110,000-square-foot casino that offers table games, a poker room and slot games.
Lake of Dreams
Wynn Las Vegas is constructed so that visitors must enter the building to view the free attractions. The main attraction is a large, curtain waterfall behind a mountain that faces the strip. The waterfall falls into a 3 acre lake. Both the waterfall and lake have images displayed on them to produce a show called "Lake of Dreams". This show starts on the hour beginning in the afternoon. When the show is inactive, the waterfall creates an animated color sequence on the screen, which is very attractive at night.
Wynn Golf and Country Club
The Wynn Golf and Country Club is the only golf course on the Las Vegas Strip. It was designed by Steve Wynn and Tom Fazio, who previously worked together on the Shadow Creek Golf Club, also in Las Vegas. Use of the course is restricted to hotel guests at a cost of $500 per round.
Dining at the Wynn
The hotel contains 15 restaurants including the Alex featuring flavors of the French Riviera, in a formal atmosphere. SW Steakhouse offers classic American and French cuisine. The hotel's Barolotta Ristorante di Mare offers fresh fish flown in from European markets daily and serves classic Italian pasta dishes for lunch and dinner.
